2. You have a choice of being dipped into the water or not, so make sure you’re vocal about this.
3. If you get a package deal to do more than one jump at different locations it’s cheaper. Costs for two separate jumps are approximately $350.
The Kawarau Bridge Bungy Jump in Queenstown, NZ is nothing short of terrifying. Apart from the slight comfort of having water beneath you, it’s pretty disconcerting throwing yourself off a ledge with the hope that an elastic rope will save you from plunging into the depths below. Having said that, I would do it again in a heartbeat.

While Kyle is known to be more of the cautious one (or the smart one as he calls it), I’m a bit of an adventure junkie. When I visited Queenstown in 2007 my three-day pit stop included three separate bungee jumps, skydiving and fighting my way down a river on a paddle board. Again, some might call this insane, but I call it an awesome weekend. The Kawarau Bridge Bungy Jump in Queenstown was the first of my three jumps, and although it was a rush, nothing compares to the Nevis Jump. I would recommend starting off with this one to ease yourself into jumping from bigger heights.
