2. For a starter, the hot and sour soup is the perfect way to wet your appetite. It’s got a bit of a kick, but not too much if you can’t stomach spicy food.
3. It’s open late, so if you’re winding down on a Friday night, head here to cure your Saturday hangover.
You would think having an abundance of Chinese food in Toronto would make it easy to find a decent restaurant, but after having more hits than misses in this vast metropolis Kyle and I were starting to get desperate. We randomly stumbled into New Sky Restaurant on Spadina on a Friday night with zero planning involved. I think it was because we saw the lit-up lobster in the window and got excited.

We have since been back a few times, bringing various friends who have all agreed New Sky is up there when it comes to Chinese food in Toronto. Apart from the hot pots which are definitely must-have items, check out Kyle’s post for more details concerning our regular orders. Overall, I recommend being adventurous and playing the flip and pick game. Whatever your finger lands on, that’s your dish of choice. Every time we’ve been there we’ve ordered something new and never been disappointed. It’s also a good idea to go with a group of people, as then you can pick from more selection to really stimulate those taste buds. His Take
